    Abstract

In applications like social networking services and on-line games, multiple moving users kind a gaggle and need to be unendingly notified with the simplest meeting purpose from their locations. To cut back the communication frequency of the applying server, a promising technique is to use safe regions that capture the validity of question results with relation to the users’ locations. Sadly, the safe regions in our drawback exhibit characteristics like irregular shapes and dependency among multiple safe regions. These distinctive characteristics render existing safe region ways that target one safe region unsuitable to our drawback. To tackle these challenges, we have a tendency to initial examine the shapes of safe regions in our drawback context and propose possible approximations for them. We have a tendency to style economical algorithms for computing these safe regions, also as develop compression techniques for representing safe regions in an exceedingly compact manner. Experiments with each real and artificial knowledge demonstrate the potency of our proposal in terms of computation and communication prices.
